Dear friends of Check_MK,

since yesterday 18:00 a completely new open source
project has been launched:

      OMD - The Open Monitoring Distribution

OMD is a completely new approach of how to install,
maintain und udpate Nagios-installations.

OMD bundles Nagios with many addons - of course
also with Check_MK. In future it will be the preferred
(but not the only) way of how to use Check_MK.
The script install_nagios.sh will become deprecated.

OMD was initiated by Mathias Kettner. Many known
experts and developers of Nagios addons are members
of the OMD Team.
