[Check_mk (english)] check_http active check

I'm on an old version of the check_mk system (1.2.4) but I use the check_http as the following example:

legacy_checks = [

( ( "check_http!website.ext", "Website Name", True), [ 'web' ], ALL_HOSTS ),

]

Adding some tags as well.

in the main.mk file (etc/check_mk/main.mk)

HTH

Thank You

Subject: [Check_mk (english)] check_http active check

No matter how I set this up, I get the following output:

HTTP WARNING: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden - 4300 bytes in 0.001 second response time

I have tried to put the whole url in the Name field. I have tried different variations of "URI to fetch". I have tried ssl and non ssl. I can telnet to the server from the monitoring server. I can get output when I send a curl command.

I am just testing the site by hitting the log in page. I do not need check_mk to log into the site, just merely report if it gets the login page.

I have followed the recommendations on the forums that say that there are permission errors or the fact that an index.html doesn't exist in /var/www/html. I have verified this exists.

Ideas?
