Hi Brian,
The diagnostics tests failed.
Run "snmpwalk -v 2c -c PUBLIC 172.x.x.x .136.1.2.1.1.1.0" fails

Go to your host in WATOHit the area to Edit the host properties, like you’re going to make changes to it.At the very top area with the buttons, one button should say Diagnostic.  If you don’t see it, there’s should be a small 3-dotted expansion button to reveal more buttons for you.Hit Diagnostic which will bring up the host IP address or DNS nameCheck the box(es) for your flavor of SNMP to add the detailsHit Test at the bottom and see what happens

What happens when you run diagnostics against one that doesn’t work?

I don’t see an attachment.  All SNMP parameters are setup the same on the switches that pass versus the ones that fail?

Dear all,
This is using check_MK 1.40p37. Our switches are Cisco. However, some switches passed the discovery and under monitoring, but others failed with the same SNMP credential.
Please see the attached jpg file for details. What really went wrong? What shall we do to make these affected switches work?
Thanks,
