Look under Global Settings in the GUI and then under the section "Monitoring Core"(might be named slightly differently if you are not using CMC) there is a setting called "Maximum number of cached log messages"

Subject: [Check_mk (english)] Maximum number (1000) of new log messages exceeded
Does anyone know how to configure the parameter which appears to default to 1000 for logwatch checks, which report back:
CRIT - 1 CRIT messages (Last worst: "Maximum number (1000) of new log messages exceeded.")
I can't find where to adjust the number of log messages so that it is not 1000.
