Hi list,

As a early present, we want to announce the release of the latest OMD version 1.10. Besides
a few software updates new or updated linux distributions have been added. Latest Redhat
and Ubuntu releases are now supported.

Here is the complete changelog:

1.10 Dec 15 2013
          - omd: More friendly error messages when init scripts do not exist
          - omd: Added option to execute scripts during site creation by putting
            files to ~/lib/omd/scripts/post-create
          - python modules: added pysnmp and pyasn1 modules
          - rrdtool: Also deliver python bindings
          - rrdcached is now logging to ~/var/log/rrdcached.log
          - added missing logrotation config for ~/var/log/xinetd.log
          - added "diskspace" program which is meant to cleanup too old files
which are not needed/wanted anymore and are not handled by regular
logrotate (like e.g. the nagios archive). Is callec automatically
every hour when the OMD crontab is enabled. This can be changed by
            editing the cron config etc/cron.d/diskspace
          - Thruk: Update to 1.80-3
          - Mod-Gearman: Update 1.4.14

             sites multiple times
          - cleanup checkresults dir of Nagios when (re-)starting Nagios
          - Init scripts can now deal with upstart user sessions, where the
PPID is not 1 anymore, instead of it the PPID is the user session
init process (init --user). This was first seen on ubuntu 13.10.
