[omd-users] latest git dpkg install fails on dependency

Looks like the fix was to..

Take mod_python.so from:

/opt/omd/versions/0.49.20110910/lib/apache/modules/

Copy to:

/opt/omd/versions/0.51.20111209/lib/apache/modules/

Starting the site worked fine... not sure if this is a bug?

You are correct, I installed the -dev version, this needed the regular; so I went to Ubuntu site and downloaded the package manually using wget.

After that, I updated my site.. but now face a different issue..

Updating site 'oppy' from version 0.49.20110910 to 0.51.20111209...

..

...

Creating temporary filesystem /omd/sites/oppy/tmp...OK

Starting dedicated Apache for site oppy...apache2: Syntax error on line 201 of /omd/sites/oppy/etc/apache/apache.conf: Syntax error on line 2 of /omd/sites/oppy/etc/apache/conf.d/01_python.conf: Cannot load /omd/sites/oppy/lib/apache/modules/mod_python.so into server: libpython2.6.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

..........ERROR

Starting gearmand...OK

Starting rrdcached...OK

Starting gearman_worker...OK

Starting npcd...OK

Starting nagios...

Nagios Core 3.2.3...OK

If I look at 01_python.conf we see:

<IfModule !mod_python.c>

  LoadModule python_module /omd/sites/oppy/lib/apache/modules/mod_python.so

</IfModule>

The file exists at the location above..

root at van-nagios-vm:/omd/sites/oppy/lib/apache/modules# ls -l

total 164

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 166936 2011-12-08 19:21 mod_python.so

Going to dig around to see what this error means.. but other than that looks like everything will start up without errors :)
